It comes as no surprise that the quality of sperm plays a huge role in conception but it has been consistently going down in the past few years. From the lifestyles we lead to the number of chemicals we consume on a daily basis, a number of reasons could be the contributing factors of just this.

As sperm quality continues to reduce by two per cent every year in the west, scientists are now warning that the human race may face extinction if this continues to take place. Another study this year showed that sperm count in the west went down by 59 per cent between 1973 and 2011. Also, too much caffeine, consumption of alcohol and processed meats can be responsible for the decline in the quality of sperms lately. Stress, smoking and pesticides could also be contributing factors.
Researchers are saying that more men may become infertile and that is a major cause for concern.
