Istanbul terror attack victim who predicted her own death

Rita Chami, who lost her life in the Istanbul terror attack had shared an eerie Facebook message hours before her death
The recent Istanbul terror attacks that claimed lives of people who had come together to celebrate the New Year left the whole world horrified. Around 39 people, including 2 Indians were killed in an armed terrorist attack that left 65 people injured.

However, a Lebanese national, Rita Chami, who was on an International trip with her boyfriend, Elias Wardini had predicted her own death. The couple had travelled to Barcelona and Athens during the year, and this New Year’s Eve celebrations was a culmination of their year of travel.





Rita Chami, who was headed for a night of partying, shared an eerie post on her Facebook wall. Chami had taken to Facebook to announce her NYE's plans in a post that read:
"Hopefully we will have fun (in Turkey), worst case scenario is that I will die in a blast and follow my mum."

According to reports Chami was shot twice and Wardini was shot thrice, and the couple died in each other's arms.

Rita Chami's profile has now turned a memorial of sorts, where the families, friends and well-wishers of the couple have shared their memories with the couple.
