Pineapples are a favourite among fruit eaters all over – they’re juicy, flavourful and packed with essential nutrients and antioxidant. Unless it’s on a pizza, everybody wants a piece of the tropical fruits. Pineapples are also essential; to fight inflammation and onset of diseases. Amongst its other health benefits, pineapples aid in improving one’s immunity, speeding up the recovery time after corrective surgery and improving the digestion. Pineapple is a rich source of Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, and folate, fiber, potassium, iron, riboflavin, manganese, copper, and magnesium.
Basically, pineapple is the shiz! But did you know, it also helps you digest your dense proteins? So after a heavy meal of your favourite meat, eat a few pieces of pineapple instead of your dessert!

Pineapples are best consumed on an empty stomach. Ideally, eat them during the early part of the day or afternoon. Never have them after meals. However, you can eat them 30 minutes after a meal.
