The most awaited finale race - Nexa P1 Powerboat Indian Grand Prix of the Seas - saw a glam turnout of the city's party frat. All the action was at the most happening venue, the Mirchi Mavericks' marquee. Guests came in by 2 pm well ahead of the races and took up the best viewpoints from atop Zaver Mahal to witness the thrilling sporting extravaganza. As this was the country's first powerboat race, and that too in Mumbai waters, it was an enthused gathering. As folks sipped on chilled drinks and enjoyed brunch fare, the music added to the live fun.

Some preferred to watch from the large screens placed around the venue. Asha Bhat (Miss Supranational 2014) and ambassador for the Mirchi Mavericks, was seen rooting for her team. Making a nautical fashion statement was actress Mugdha Godse, Manasi Scott opted for the classic white shirt-denims look and the Meet Bros who composed the theme track for the event had a family day out. One spotted designer Narendra Kumar sharing a few laughs with friends.

As the race ended, everyone moved towards the prize distribution at the Trident. Winners were felicitated to huge applause from the crowd. It was the perfect end to the three-day sporting event.
