The coronavirus pandemic has spread across the world like wildfire and has forced multiple organisations to either shut down shop or ask their employees to work from home. And while working from home for these employees may seem like a good option given all the facilities they have at home, one concern that is plaguing everyone's mind right now is about all the weight they might end up gaining. When we step out to go to the office, the commute pretty much serves as an exercise session but now that that's not happening and people are eating whatever they want at home, a lot of people might end up putting on a lot of weight too.

That's why it's important for you to replace all the junk food you're bingeing on with healthy snacks instead. It will help prevent you from putting on any extra calories. Here are some healthy snacks you can opt for.

1. Boiled eggs: These contain only 77 calories and are also amongst the best sources of protein. Not only are they super nutritious, but they can also help keep you feeling satiated for long so you won't have the urge to munch on anything else. This way, they can also help you lose weight instead of putting on calories.

2. Fruits: Whenever you have a craving for something sweet, try and replace your chocolate or dessert with healthy fruit. Fruits contain vitamins and nutrients that can work wonders for your health. They're also rich in fibre which can aid digestion and are low on calories so you don't end up putting weight either.

3. Protein bar: Protein bars are also amongst the healthiest foods you can eat. They contain ingredients that are good for health and do not contain too many calories so they don't end up affecting your weight. You could also make protein bars at home if you'd like.

4. Popcorn: Who doesn't love popcorn? It makes for a great snack to munch on but you must remember to avoid using butter or too much salt on it as these contain calories and can reduce the healthy quotient of the snack. Popcorn is also rich in fibres and hence it works rather well in keeping you full for long.

So, now that you know what you should opt for, we say you give your junk food habit a rest and give these snacks a try instead. Team this with at least three to four days of indoor activity or exercise and you just might end up losing weight. Stay tuned for more updates.
