Say yes to essential oils for an acne-free skin

Acne is the toxic ex in our life which keeps visiting us on the wrong days! These red bumps are sometimes painful and ugly-looking that nobody likes. You might spend your entire life looking for that one solution that can help you to get rid of those zits. But the truth is, acne is a part of life and with the right care, you can minimize them with ease. There’s no single miraculous product that can alone remove these inflammations out of your face. One must adopt a series of lifestyle habits along with correct skincare. To begin with, essential oils will do the trick.

Essential oil is one the beauty product which is underrated when it comes to treating acne. Many people still tend to believe in the myth that states moisturising can cause acne. Opposite to this belief, it is important to ensure hydration of the skin to combat inflammation caused my fluctuation on the sebum levels. In simpler terms, our skin produces sebum to make up for the lack of moisture. Furthermore, bacteria feeds on this increased level of sebum, resulting in acne or zit.

These acne infections can be dangerous causing scaring and other adversities to skin. Not to forget, it is equally painful and can lead to several skin problems in time.

The best way to combat the pimple causing germs is to ensure adequate hydration of the skin. While one may apply moisturiser, an essential oil can do wonders with its multiple benefiting properties. It is lightweight, seeps deep into the skin with better absorption than most creams. It enhances the elasticity of the skin and collagen production at the same time.

Added to these, essential oils can also improve the reduction of acne scars. Popular oils like tea tree oil, tamanu oil, jojoba seed oil, and rose-hip oil are known for their anti-bacterial properties, ideal against acne. It can also improve over all skin texture and aid signs of aging.
