We usually wake up, open our eyes, see and move on with our lives taking our sight for granted and not visiting the eye specialist each year or two. But eyes are way too sensitive and needs to be checked regularly. You wouldn't know what could be going wrong with your eyes until it's too late for you to find out. Hence, we're here to give you a little insight on a few eye problems that you could be facing and need to get it checked immediately.

Red eyes or teary eyes: If your eyes turn red or teary due to long night outs, it could be keratitis which is an infection of the cornea that causes pain, redness, discharge and inflammation that hosts several other problems.

Floaters and flashes: Most people experience floaters which are the cobwebby squiggles that start appearing in your vision which could be accompanied by flashes of light. This is warning enough for you to make a trip to an ophthalmologist.

Eye pain: Your eyes shouldn't be hurting on a daily basis and if it does, you should be taking it seriously. There could be many eye problems ranging from benign to potentially blinding conditions that needs to be taken care of.

Pupils that don't look of the same size: The technical name for unequal pupil size is anisocoria. Some people who are healthy enough could also have unequal pupils. Although if you're an adult and one of your pupils becomes larger or smaller, you need to see a doctor.
