Hickey marks are the common aftermath of steamy makeup sessions. Although hickeys marks go away on its own in a few days, some times the blue-black or red marks can bring a lot of uninvited attention. If you’re bothered by the stares and the giggles that can come from people around you on spotting hickey, may be you should try some hacks to get rid of hickey. One such hack is to conceal it with makeup. It might seem impossible, but with the right product you can easily cover up even the treacherous hickey mark.

Start by moisturising the area on your neck where the hickey is. First step will be to colour correct the affected area. Use green corrector with a gentle tapping motion on the spot. We recommend using fingers to blend for the natural-looking finish.

Next step is the foundation. Take a foundation that matches your body colour and not your face. You can mix-match foundation colour to make the most close-enough colour shade for your neck and apply a thin layer using your fingers. You can also use concealer on top to make your makeup look opaque, but don’t over layer.

Now you need a setting powder in translucent shade to set the makeup. Similar to baking your makeup, apply a coat of setting powder using a blender sponge and wait for 5 mins to set. Dust off the powder when off to reveal smooth skin.

Now take some bronzer on a powder brush and shake off the excess before you swipe it on your neck area for a natural touch. This is an additional step, but highly beneficial.

Finish off by spraying some setting spray from a distance and voila! No one will be able to tell the difference!
