There are always a lot of reasons for crying. Whenever we feel sad, hurt, stressed or worried about something or someone, it can make us cry. It's also absolutely fine to cry. You must have also heard about how crying is a good sign of a tough human being. Sometimes, we even tear up without a reason. There's a sudden overwhelming feeling and an emotional outburst that can make you shed some tears.

If you would like to know the reason behind this, here's what you need to read:

- Sleep deprivation: Your mind and body needs 7-9 hours of sleep every day. If you fail to get this amount right, it disrupts your emotions as well as your mood. Lack of sleep can lead to altered emotional reactivity and your brain loses the ability to distinguish between what's important and what's trivial. Due to this, everything seems like a big deal and even the minutest of triggers can then lead to an emotional outburst.

- Burnouts: When you are stressed and feel burnt out due to work or any other reason, it could lead to crying. Breaking into tears acts like a vent for all sort of tension that keeps adding up. Apart from crying, you could also experience headaches, stomach issues as well as body aches. Working more or being under a lot of pressure or a tense environment can be bad for your health and you need to take a break from all of it.

- Premenstrual syndrome aka PMS: Being moody, bloated and weepy are some of the signs of premenstrual syndrome. Around 1 or 2 weeks before your periods, you might start experiencing these symptoms apart from trouble in focusing, angry outbursts and anxiety. Other physical signs includes breast tenderness, tiredness, headaches, hunger, digestive problems and aches. This happens due to hormonal changes. Even unexpected crying could be due to PMS.

- Low blood sugar: When you suffer from hypoglycemia or low blood sugar, it can be the reason behind unintentional crying. The disorder can occur due to having too much carbs, malnutrition, fasting, binge drinking, Addison's disease or any other issue with the heart, liver or kidneys. Other signs includes sweating, dizziness, tiredness, hunger and heart palpitations, confusion, sleepiness and blurred vision.
