These home remedies will help get rid of your foot pain

Most of us these days are still stuck indoors due to the coronavirus pandemic, and doing things from home has pretty much become the new norm. Whether it's working or opting for some physical exercise, we're doing it all from the comfort of our houses. But let's be honest, more often than not we end up sitting in awkward positions while we work or do other activities and the one most common problem to arise from this is sore joints. And these things can lead to issues such as foot pain. So, if you've hurt your foot by chance and are looking for some natural ways to reduce the pain, here are some home remedies that will come to your aid. Take a look.

Ginger - Grate some ginger into a bowl and add two cups of hot water as well as two tbsp of cinnamon powder. Let the mixture soak for a while and then dip a cloth into the mixture, squeeze out the excess water and apply it to your foot. You have to repeat this exercise at least three times a day for about 10-15 minutes for it to have any effect on your foot.

Ice - You can also opt for a cold compress with some ice. Put some ice cubes into a cloth and gently rub it on the area that hurts. And if you have an ice pack, that's even better. Just massage it on the area that hurts with a moderate amount of pressure. And you'll notice the difference it can make in alleviating the pain.

Turmeric - Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric really can work wonders in getting rid of pain. You can consume some turmeric by adding it to your meals and you can also make a paste of it using some water and apply it to the affected area. Leave it on for as long as you want. It'll definitely help reduce your pain.
