Researchers have found curcumin found in turmeric can tackle a host of chronic inflammatory issues like rheumatoid arthritis. One study found that curcumin helps reduce pain in people suffering from osteoarthritis and inflammation.

Holy basil, also known as tulsi, is popularly used inAyurvedic medicine due to its healing properties. This tea can help tackle stress and other factors that cause high levels of inflammation that may increase your chances of developing a chronic disease. Some studies suggest holy basil contains anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce high levels of blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol.

Green tea is loaded with anti-inflammatory properties that can help tackle issues associated with increased inflammation, like ulcerative colitis and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs). This tea can also reduce heart disease and Alzheimer’s risk that have a strong association with high levels of inflammation. You can brew green tea in a bag or add some matcha powder to hot milk or water.
