We might all claim that short hair is freeing and less burdensome and fabulous and whatnot but let's be honest; deep down we've all wanted to have long hair at some point in our lives. So, if you've decided that this is that time when you'd like to grow out your hair, let us tell you, it is not going to be easy. You might think it will grow out pretty soon but sometimes that's not the case. And that is why it's important to remember certain tips and hacks so that they can come to your aid. Here are some tips that will definitely give your hair growth a boost. Take a look.

Wash your hair properly - Don't skip washing your hair for too long since it could lead to a build-up of dirt and grime which could hinder your hair growth process. Make sure that you wash your hair at least 2-3 times a week with a gap of at least one day in between. And remember to use a shampoo that suits your scalp. Whenever you use it, massage the shampoo into your scalp for 2-3 minutes and then rinse it. This will help get rid of any grime and build-up in your scalp.

Don't wrap up wet hair - One of the worst things you can do to your hair is to wrap it up tightly when it's wet. And what's even worse is that you might be using a harsh towel to do it. Wet hair is extra vulnerable and prone to breaking. So, whenever you wash your hair, just squeeze out the extra water from your hair using a soft towel or an old cotton tee and then let your hair air dry.

Opt for an oil massage - There's a reason why your mum keeps insisting you oil your hair regularly. Oil can work as a conditioner for your hair and can leave it feeling smooth and silky. So, opt for an oil massage for your hair and scalp at least once a week. You must let the oil remain in your hair for about 3-4 hours minimum for it to give your hair the moisture it needs.

So, now that you know what you can do to give your hair the boost it needs to grow faster, make sure you follow these tips! Stay tuned for more updates.
