World Ovarian Cancer Day: Common symptoms of ovarian cancer that might go easily unnoticed

Each year World Ovarian Cancer Day is celebrated on the 8th of May to spread awareness about the fatal disease called ovarian cancer. As the global cases of ovarian cancer are rising year by year in women, it has become essential to pay attention to changes in health. Although ovarian cancer can be very challenging to detect in the early stages, some of its symptoms are prominent only if you notice. Early signs of this cancer type might seem subtle and hence go easily unnoticed. Take a look at some of such common ovarian cancer symptoms that can develop from ovarian cancer.

Abnormal or unexplained pain in the lower abdomen area with swelling and pelvic cramps can be the first sign of ovarian disorders, including cancer. Further to this, an irregular menstrual cycle and painful sex are some of the clear indicators of ovarian cancer. Feeling bloated, dull, and nauseated at the same time can also come from cancer of ovaries.

Many people also tend to experience a lack of appetite, sudden weight loss, constipation, the frequent need for urination, lower back pain with a regular upset stomach while suffering from ovarian cancer.
