Your bedroom is a very personal and the most important space in your house. You need the comfort of your bedroom once you come home after a tiring day so that you can relax and calm yourself down in your comfy bed. Although, it isn't just the cosy bed that makes you feel relaxed. It's actually a few things in the bedroom that can add to the calmness. Also, if you haven't been feeling positive in your bedroom since a while, it's time you get rid of a few things that could be adding to the tension.

- Television: So many people have installed a television in their bedroom with the thought that they can literally watch TV all time lying in their bed. But the thing is, it can hamper your peaceful sleep. Your bedroom is a place which needs to be low light and with bare minimum noise, both of which aren't possible when a television is inside the bedroom. In fact, you must decrease the number of electronic devices in this space so that your mind and body can relax itself entirely.

- Dead plants: Plants and flowers can actually add on to a positive vibe in the entire house including your bedroom. The smell of fresh flowers and the aesthetics that plants alone can add to your bedroom can't be matched. But, you really need to keep changing these plants and flowers every few days. You can't let dead plants and dead flowers sit in your bedroom as it can disrupt your sleep cycle and also won't let you feel relaxed and enthusiastic.

- Temple and Holy pictures: Now, every Indian household will have a temple and a few pictures of Gods in the house. But, placing these in your bedroom can actually be a bad idea. It's a space for your personal activities and so, having an idol placed in there is disrespectful. You can create a special space for the temple in the house but that doesn't have to be your bedroom.
